Arriving at the Atrium Holiday Inn hotel at around 11:50 PM we headed straight to the reception area to register.

Thank goodness the lady manning the counter was certified Pinay who even greeted us a happy anniversary. Included in our welcome greetings were 2 complementary beer or wine whichever we preferred.

We were given a room 2013 located on the 20th floor. The elevator was elegantly located in the center of the hotel with see-through glass as cover. My wife was not impressed because she was afraid of height.

We were able to sleep about 1:30 AM after unpacking our things and did some personal hygiene.

I woke up about 6:00 AM because my body clock refuses to cooperate even thought I am trying hard to dose off again. So I did the next best thing to take a hot shower and enjoy a bath in a tub. A relaxing bathtub I even simulated like I was swimming submerging myself a few times.

While waiting for my wife to wake up I busy my self from reading the newspaper and at the same time viewing a CNN report from TV. An hour passed and she woke up telling me that she’ll take a bath first before we take our breakfast.

I gladly showed her how the shower knob works and how to fill the tub with water.

Me:” There were two colors on the handle bar. The red for hot and the blue for cold. Pulling and bringing the handle farther left will make the water hotter and the opposite happened if you bring it farther to the right, it would be colder. Putting it in the middle will make the water mild in temperature.”

Wife:”How can I use the shower?”

Me:” Pushing the middle button would make the shower work”.

Wife:”Oh I see. It was a good thing it was not pressed down when I use it to wash my bottom. There’s no dipper (tabo) here when I defecated last night. I don’t feel comfortable when using tissue only.

Me:”What!”

My wife is a natural comedian that our family would find funny in almost every small things that she does.
