Lanie, Lyn and Me

My daughter Lanie graduated last March, 2009 but our family were not able to celebrate the occasion because the graduation ceremony ended at about 10:00 PM that day.

So last Tuesday, August 18 we decided to have a celebration after Lanie’s  oath taking at SMX Convention Center, SM Mall Of Asia.

We arrived early at about 11:30 AM for a 1:00 PM schedule.

First stop, lunch at Juan’s Bistro. The first Restaurant near the entrance of SM Department Store.

The food is great although quite expensive. The serving is just right but my wife was not able to finished her serving of rice. I took fancy at the Komiks wall design and ask the waiter if they have a smaller version of it. I was given a menu with the back page serving as a komiks page.

The rest of the member of my family arrived just before 5:00 PM a few minutes before Lanie and Lyn arrived from the SMX. Lanie is now a full pledge RN.

I now realized how grown up my kids really are. The budget for eating out is now triple than what I use to spend before. Was it the place or my children s big appetite?
SM Mall of Asia is really huge for old one like to explore by walking. It is a good thing that the management decided to have a free tram ride.
Congratulations Lanie and I am hoping for more successes to come your way.

UPDATE: Last night June 18, 2009 Manny Pacquaio personally told the news reporter of ABS-CBN and GMA 7 that Cotto and Mayweather might opponent they are considering. I am wishing for Edwin Valero or Juan Marquez as the next opponent of Manny Pacquiao.
