On Monday, August 17, 2009 GMA 7 will start airing the Survivor Philippines, Season 2. Right after the show “Addict Sa’yO” about 9:15 PM and would run every weekdays from Monday to Friday.

Now, why do I become interested in this TV show?

It was because a Co-Manager just texted me this moment and is asking for my support for his nephew Mr. Louie Ang. He is the son of my former ICC (Inventory Control Clerk) Alfonso Ang in Taytay Rizal way back 1989. We worked together up to 1994 when our branch was gutted by fire (I was transferred to Cubao). This kid was still in his youth maybe 5 or 4 years old then when I first saw him.

Oh! how time flies.  Not only he had grown to be a spitting image of his father but might also overshadow his father image of being “chick boy”. Sorry Al.

Now how do I know it? Going to his page that says-“Louie Ang,chickboy“. Like father like son? hehehe.

He says: “Survivor ako kasi 5 girlfriends ko at hindi ako nahuhuli.”

Louie Ang, an I.T. professional, is a typical guy-next-door, living his happy–go–lucky life with a constant goofy grin on his face.

“Walang drama ang buhay ko, e,” Louie quips when asked if he has ever faced a real tough challenge in his life.

His main reason for joining Survivor Philippines Palau could not be any simpler, “Matagal ko nang gustong sumali, para makita ko ang sarili ko sa TV,” Louie said.

When asked to describe himself, Louie declares that he is a “chickboy” and “bad boy”.

As a “chickboy” Louie admits that at one point, he had five simultaneous girlfriends – and he was able to keep it a secret for quite a long time, until somebody messed up his Facebook account.

As a “bad boy,” Louie figured in quite a number of fistfights during his college days – one of such incidents even got caught on video and was posted online.

He is one of the cast away Survivor Philippines Season 2 contestant.
