I have spent almost a month of looking and trying to find the solution how I can bring back to life this website. Another week spent in  trying to tweak and recreate themes, plugins and other churvaness here in wordpress.

I finally find the time to join a project by Ms. Janette Toral about the

All files were lost but with God’s grace and able support of fellow blogger (especially Mae and Roy) I am back and moving on.

What happened to this site?

It was May 2 ,2009 when I cannot access my admin page. I just shrug my shoulder thinking that maybe my web host is down and it would be back in a few minutes. That night I wrote a post in my Blogspot about “Fatherlyours.com is down” jokingly asking for help. Not yet in the panic mode.

Then the few minutes become hours and days. I tried everything to contact Kenneth, the owner of Webpinas but all phone number in my list just gave me a “cannot be reach message” for the cell phone and always busy tone for his land line.

May 4, 2009 I wrote another post about my problem titled, “Fatherlyours and my web host” hoping to get an answer but nothing happened.

Then on the 14th of May I wrote an open letter (Webpinas my web host) to Kenneth, AKA – “Hacksider” the username he almost uses in his forum posting. Here I got a comment from two people who are also using webpinas as their web host.

his full name is Kenneth Estanislao. I am also a victim. my Warmstone site (my blog from 2005) was hosted by Webpinas for a year. when May comes in, my site cannot be accessed anymore. i tried to contact him with his cel number and his wife’s cel number. i also tried sending an offline message to her YM. i tried calling a landline i found via the internet and discovered it was his parents who had promised me that they will tell their son about contacting me. To no avail.
that was during the first week of May.

i think he is a web host reseller. i really don’t know what happened. the bad part is like the owner of Fatherly Yours, i was not able to have a local backup. it was actually hanging in my head because last April Kenneth and me exchanged text mssgs pa. i also him that time why i cannot access webpinas and he answered like ‘i have big plans for webpinas he he’. i became complacent with the reply and never thought he will just leave me (or us) hanging. now i realized the ‘he he’ at the end of the reply means something bad.

it was so unprofessional of him. i just needed an explanation and if it’s possible to retrieve my seemingly lost files. but he did not care or bother man lang to answer. he has a responsibility at dapat siyang humarap.

Last May 16, Roy posted another one about “Fatherlyours and Webpinas” making an appeal to anyone or everyone who could provide help.

I am really thankful to all those people who drop by the site and leave their support and suggestions. It is a very humbling and heartwarming experience for me.

This follow up post by Roy said it all. The summary of events and facts are very clear. The suggestion and lessons learned are the only things that are positive in this situation. As they say, “Learning from other people’s mistake is the best education we can get”.

The other day I received a short email from Kenneth telling me what happened and I just advised him to explain the same thing to other people who have the misfortune of suffering the same fate as I have.

The previous hosting which is based on malaysia havent even responded me why they did suspend all the servers, theres a news or rumor that they got bankrupt. Sorry but I am only a 3rd party reseller from them, i dont have any file backup from other websites other than me.

All I can do is refund the remaining months you have.

To everybody who have spent their precious time following the saga of fatherlyours (some even offered to host this site) , I say Thank you so much. I may not have mention your name or the things that you have done please forgive me.

Fatherlyours is now online and please join me in reconstructing this site.
