Accident or Incident

On my 5th yoga session I came to know Bonic, a good looking young man in his 30’s. He is a production manager from an advertising firm and needed a relief from stress, his reason for enrolling in a yoga class.

We were happily discussing our experiences from the first time we set foot at the Yoga studio to doing those “Asanas” (posture) up to the improvements we have managed to achieved when Lokesh butt in. Lokesh is one of those very good volunteer Yoga Teachers.

He told us that what had happened to us is not an accident but by incident.

Now, what's parapsychology? It's the psychology of the mind in
relation to cause and effect. This universe is an intricate web of
vibrations. Everything is connected. Whatever happens is the effect
of something else, and the cause of something else again. "When a
blade of grass moves, the whole universe quivers." Everything is
incidental; nothing is accidental. We usually refer to something as
an "accident" because we can't see what caused it, but certainly it
was caused by something. "Everything comes from something. Nothing
comes from nothing."

Definition from Merriam Webster Online:

Accident -1 a : an unforeseen and unplanned event or circumstance b : lack of intention or necessity : chance <met by accident rather than by design>

2 a : an unfortunate event resulting especially from carelessness or ignorance b : an unexpected and medically important bodily event especially when injurious <a cerebrovascular accident> c : an unexpected happening causing loss or injury which is not due to any fault or misconduct on the part of the person injured but for which legal relief may be sought d —used euphemistically to refer to an involuntary act or instance of urination or defecation

3 : a nonessential property or quality of an entity or circumstance <the accident of nationality>

Incident1 : something dependent on or subordinate to something else of greater or principal importance

2 a : an occurrence of an action or situation that is a separate unit of experience : happening b : an accompanying minor occurrence or condition : concomitant

3 : an action likely to lead to grave consequences especially in diplomatic matters <a serious border incident>

Need I say more? Of course I believed him. I only wanted to be relieved of my muscle pains but I ended up knowing a lot of things about my body, importance of meditation and looking forward to know more about natural healing.

Advance Merry Christmas everyone.
