Feeling Lucky !

I am feeling lucky today. You know why?

While eating lunch today with my Boss at the Golden Fortune restaurant located at the Victory Mall I recognized a lady that walked in and use the powder room of the said restaurant.

Of course all the personnel in restaurant know her because she is their regular customer. They told us that she is an enterprising business woman who own a massage center and a fortune telling venture  at the ground floor of the Victory Mall.

She is non other than the famous Madam Auring.

So after eating I ask my Boss if we could visit the place of business of Madam Auring.

My Boss readily agreed because the place was near the Ideal Vision where He intends to buy something for his glasses.

Arriving at Madam Auring fortune telling booth, we saw her giving her final readings of her women client while some students were waiting and  wanted to have their picture taken with her.

While watching the whole thing a man in massage uniform, her employee, ask me if I wanted a massage? I said no and his next question was if I wanted to have a photo ops with Madam Auring?

Of course I agreed then I gave him my camera phone. After our photo was taken, Madam Auring tap me and told me “Pahula ka na , P100.00 lang” (Let me tell you your fortune, One Hundred Pesos Only). I politely declined the offer and wanted my Boss to have his picture with Madam taken also.

But my Boss was as elusive as an eel that in an instant he was nowhere to be found. My Boss is the shy type and was contented laughing with my antics.

Madam Auring (born Aurea Sabalboro to Luciana Damian and Jaime Sabalboro) was still young when she discovered she had a special gift which she attributed to God – she could tell the future!
